On Tuesday, Sept. 9, local comedian and Last Comic Standing finalist Marcus will be taping a new live stand-up DVD titled Second to None. Where else would this special occasion take place other than his own stomping ground here in Utah?

The Second to None show will be a two-hour extravaganza including lots of laughs. Marcus says, "You can expect about an hour of new material. The older material has changed and progressed a lot since the taping of the last DVD."

To make this as big an event as possible, Marcus is bringing in live music along with special host Wolf from NBC's American Gladiators. The DVD, Second to None, should be released in October. His previous DVD, Taking Aim, is available for purchase at his MySpace page, www.myspace.com/marcuscomedy

If you're a fan of Marcus or great stand-up, or if you would simply like to experience the energy of a live taping, then don't pass on this opportunity. The tickets are cheap, and who knows when he'll be around again?
